Welcome my Kings and Queens. If you’re on this article then you most likely have watched the “You’re Average at Best” video by Kevin Samuels. You either laughed out loud at his comments or you got infuriated by his harsh tone and rhetoric with black women. Either way you know who he is now and you’re probably wondering if he really does hate black women or if he has some type of negative agenda towards the black community. I’m here to clear the air and lay out the facts for you so you can make up your own mind about this.Â
Rising YouTube Star and Professional Image Consultant, Kevin Samuels is changing the black community and becoming a very influential figure for Black Men when it comes to the topic of dating and specifically dating black women. Starting with the above video you probably know that Kevin Samuels style and rhetoric is indeed brutally honest. Is his tone harsh? Maybe. That’s subjective.
To us men, he is actually pretty tame and respectful in comparison to how he’s ripped apart some of the “incel” men that have called into his show.
But he only shits on Black Women..
Kevin Samuels is a great entertainer. I have found myself watching many of his videos and really appreciate his conversations with many women of diverse races. Here’s the proof. He literally shuts down an anti-capitalist white woman that hopped on his show in opposition to his “ratings” and his tough approach with women. He even called her “Trust Fund Becky” ffs. Go find out why. LOL!
Here’s another video where he confronts a very masculine white woman that claimed women are just as strong and capable as men but got offended when Kevin called her “rugged”. In another instance Kevin Samuels has even debated 3 hardcore feminists on a show discussing the ideologies behind Modern Women and a Traditional Man.
So no, Kevin Samuels does NOT only target Black Women. He analyzes and speaks to ALL women regardless of race and treats them all the same. “I give back what you put out” is phrase of his. The reason you mostly see Kevin Samuels roasting black women is because… he’s black. He’s a Black Youtuber and of course he’s going to be viewed by the black community first. I’m a Latino Youtuber and I have mostly Mexican and Latinas watching my videos all the time, supporting my YouTube channel. Why is anyone surprised that Kevin Samuels would get mostly black women calling into his show. Common sense people!
Ok But He Never Picks on Men..
Contrary to popular belief, Kevin Samuels also roasts MEN. Kevin has actually been very aggressive and hilarious when it came to the topic of beta males and their rhetoric against him. Here’s the proof.
So No. Kavin Samuels does not only target WOMEN. Men called into his show all the time when he began his live streams on Youtube and he made sure to give them his 2 cents and advice on how to improve their life in the dating world. He was more harsh towards men than women, but ya’ll not ready to talk about that.
That argument doesn’t support the narrative about Kevin Samuels and this myth that he hates black women. It is utter nonsense and shows a lack of research behind his story.
Eddy Adheem
Kevin Samuels has been divorced twice and what is wrong with that? Steve Harvey has been divorced twice as well and currently married and super successful when it comes to giving advice for dating world. Harvey even has his own show, books and millions of dollars due to his successful career. Should his advice also be disregarded because of his divorces?
Nope. Clearly it’s not being disregarded and maybe it has something to do with his delivery and selling women honey instead of Kevin’s tough love approach. It’s pretty interesting to note that nobody cared about men’s feelings when he commented on their weight and backgrounds but every woman and beta male in the black community are up in arms about his comments towards women. It is an amazing double standard to watch.
The Drama
I believe Kevin Samuels advice is spot on. He has taught a lot of men to realize their worth in the world and bring back some much needed confidence in the dating sphere. I especially think he is helping a lot of men focus more on their own marriage potential and ability to attract a mate through some common sense self improvement.Â
Some black women might disagree with me but I know many that will agree with me as well. I have connected with a lot of amazing black women on Clubhouse where a lot of these conversations are taking place today in real time.
Clubhouse is actually the reason why I know many black women do support Kevin Samuels and have grown to appreciate men in the dating world. There are many Clubhouse rooms being built around the topics of dating in the black community and the dynamics between Black men and women.Â
We can clearly hear in real time black, white and Latino men echo the same one liners Kevin Samuels uses in his videos and even a lot of his rhetoric to gain support from fellow fans of Kevin Samuels ideologies.Â
It’s actually pretty remarkable to see this wave because it’s been a long time since we have seen a rising star grow so rapidly on YouTube at the pace Kevin Samuels is growing. Currently he is at 677,000 subscribers and making at least 300,000 views a week per every video he uploads. These numbers are incredible! I project he will reach 1 million subscribers on YouTube before summer ends.
I know talent when I see it and he definitely has it. Samuels has an amazing ability to speak and gives very wise advice for men and women of all ages and all RACES. Men and women should definitely pay attention to his rants.
How He Advises Men
When speaking to men, Kevin Samuel is a straight shooter. His tone is very different with men than when he talks to women. He is a no bullshit kind of guy and has very little patience for men. He does not care about your life story and cuts men off when they start to ramble on.
As he should. The man’s time is valuable and he is running a live show on YouTube with many men trying to be consulted in the queue. He quickly dives into the main problems some of these men face in their personal lives. Samuels has a surgical approach with both men and women.
The Questions He Asks Men
Kevin Samuels asks men very important questions from the start. First their age, profession and general physical attributes. One very important question he asks men is, if they are Virgins. This question helps him understand their sexual maturity. A 30 year old man called into his show and stated he was a virgin and Kevin made sure to point out that he needs to be sexually mature enough to even talk to his future mate. Samuels even suggested he consider sleeping with a prostitute because the man needs more experience and is way behind than his 30 year old peers who are highly competitive.Â
Another man in his 30’s stated that he never had a relationship but could get sex from women. Kevin pushed him to explain why this was the case and we later find out that after sex, the women most likely ghosted him. Another caller asked Kevin why he wasn’t having much success in the dating world despite being a great salesperson and out working all his employees. Kevin quickly asked him his height, weight and income. The man said he was 5’5, overweight and only made 40,000 a year at age 38.
“Wait a minute man. You can’t be Short and Fat. That’s 2 strikes. You gotta pick a struggle. You can’t pick both. Why are you short and fat? *silence* …Why?”Â
That was the funniest exchange I saw and made me realize how savage Kevin could really be when it comes to his guests. You could hear the 38 year old’s self esteem immediately drop as he came to the realization that his physique is most likely the reason he is not getting laid or having a relationship with a woman. I really encourage you all to watch this video. That exchange happens at 51 minutes.
Overall
Kevin Samuels has started conversations all over Clubhouse. New clubhouse rooms are using his name to trigger people and rack up followings. It’s a clever strategy and I know this game all too well. I used to be part of the Facebook famous people groups back in the day. But hey, we have a lot to be thankful for with this new VOICE in the community. Many comedians are now creating parodies about Kevin Samuels and his mannerisms in a hilarious approach. Check out this video and you won’t regret it.Â
This new shift in the dating world has sparked a lot of interest. People are wondering what Kevin Samuels will do next to achieve an even higher space of influence. I respect his title as Image Consultant and will always support YouTubers that make it out of the “YouTube Famous” space into the “Real Famous” world. As a Youtuber myself, it is always a treat to examine and unpack a new YouTuber’s content because I know every single strategy used in that platform to generate millions of views.
