QuirkyPixels is a LGBT content creator. She has been creating videos on YouTube since 2014, and streaming since 2019. She talks about mental health, burnout and inclusivity among other related topics. She is very outgoing and enjoys speaking with her chat.

On Twitch she usually played Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Sims4 or she just chats with her fans. She made this video to give any future Twitch streamers an idea on how much they will actually get paid doing Twitch.

How Much Did She Make?

Starting from when she first got affiliated which was September 8th 2019 until the end of December of the same year. It came out to 152 dollars and Ninety Cents. Although when she checks the “Payout History” it comes out to $145.

After she reviewed her analytics she saw that this amount is a result of 20 Paid subscribers ($44.87), Twitch Prime Subs ($9.98), 22 Gifted Subs ($48.69), Ads ($2.53) and Cheering ($46.83). Her Birthday Stream is where she got $22 just from cheering.

3. What to learn from this?

QuirkyPixel has showed that you don’t have to be a big streamer with thousands of viewers to earn money. She averaged around 10-20 viewers a stream and made that amount. She focused on her fans and creating content that people enjoyed.

Quirky also used her surroundings and what was currently going on around her to her advantage. Her birthday stream being the main example on how she made money. With another beneficial stream being her December Christmas stream.

Money is something you work for. Being paid by Twitch helps a streamer in reaching their goals by being rewarded for their work on Twitch. People are now able to make money at home by just playing video games. Receiving their first paycheck will give them an idea of how far they can go.
